Though artist Patti Gibbons was born on Long Island, the Hudson Valley has been her home and inspiration for over 40 years. The backdrop of the historic art colony - Woodstock, NY, was the foundation of her creative life.
While raising two small children, Patti attended SUNY New Paltz where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained her BS and MS in Art Education. She taught art for 21 years, then left her career to work as a full time artist in her Kingston, NY studio.
Her fine art has been exhibited regionally and internationally, and she designs for various private and public businesses. In addition, she is available for consultation, private instruction, and classes.
The fine art featured here are small works from her three bodies of work; collage, painting, and drawing. All pieces are unframed, although framing is available.
See "Shows/Events/Retail" page for information about where you can see her work, and information about her unusual handmade greeting cards, journals, light switch plates and her antique/specialty papers.
