The Artist

Patti Gibbons has called the Hudson Valley home for over 40 years and credits the area's natural beauty as the deepest inspiration in her artwork . Woodstock, NY,  was, and still is, the foundation of her creative life.

Her early art career included design work in the pottery studio of Elana Zang, and as a designer/production artist for several local apparel companies and studios in the county. Patti graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY New Paltz with a BS and MS in Art Education, followed by a gratifying career as an art teacher for special needs/at-risk students. After 20+ years she left public education to pursue her art and joyfully creates out of her Kingston NY home studio. Her art has been exhibited regionally and internationally, and she designs for various private and public    businesses.
