Collage and acrylic on paper.
Each piece of collaged paper was hand printed and collaged onto an acrylic ink painting with acrylic painted on top of the piece in places. It is a push/pull of paper and paint. There are some portions of the painting that have gold and copper paint which shimmer in the light. There is a rooster (antique paper) hiding in the garden. The base is a heavy paper/bristol board.
This is from a series that are abstract illustrations from fairy tales- this one influenced by Tales of the Arabian Nights. I work intuitively and let the piece determine its direction.
It is UNFRAMED, and would look fabulous matted and framed in white. Other colors would also work in framing depending upon your decor.
Shipped in between layers of thick backing and shipped with tracking and insurance for FREE.
