12" x 12" x .75" Acrylic and collage on stretched canvas. The base of the artwork is a an acrylic painting in stunning sky blues with clouds of copper and gold metallic paint. Various hand printed papers are incorporated into the piece- along with an altered antique art print (the upper part of the figure). I work the paint and paper back and forth, creating a flow between both mediums. This painting is a self-portrait; as an artist I conjure up other worlds as a means of escapism from the intensity of life and to quiet my mind. This is unframed at the moment, and is priced as thus. I will reprice once I have framing options.
